Iris On Mountain Stage! Iris was a featured artist on “The Mountain Stage” in Charleston, West Virginia. “Mountain Stage” is a West Virginia Public Radio broadcast. (Your webmaster was able to attend the taping in August.) It was broadcast in October 2004. You may be able to catch it on re-broadcasts. It is worth hearing. 11/24/2002! Iris Marries! Singer/songwriters Greg Brown and Iris Dement, exchanged vows and were married in a small, sweet ceremony in Dement’s hometown of Kansas City, Mo. Nov. 21. Dement recently contributed a beautiful rendition of “The Train Carrying Jimmie Rodgers Home” for The Breast Cancer Fund CD, Going Driftless: An Artist’s Tribute to Greg Brown.
